Missing Europe. However, I shant complain about NBS anymore although i feel NBS is just a waste of time. This exchange programme is a bonus to me, so I should be contented with the programme and move on in my life instead of grumbling about coming back, which I have been doing from the moment I stepped onto Singapore. Good memories.

Surprisingly, I am able to cope with the drastic weather change. I thought I would perspire a lot, but nope I didnt. No longer need to wear 2 or 3 layers back in london just for walking 200m distance. Ironically, I miss london food, although its just pasta, sausage, egg and some frozen vege.

Interviews are still not done yet. Deloitte has offered me. Now waiting for the others. Lately nobody can really convince me which company is good, hence I shall decide it for myself.

Im lost in class. I always use the exchange programme as an excuse to get away with not doing tutorials or studying. I have been narrating my experience till a point that I feel im giving a speech session on Europe haha.

Lastly, and perhaps for the last time, I shall blog about my last few days in london.

We went to london a few times amidst exams haha. Must make full use of the opportunities. Shopping at london!!!! We could only afford to shop at Primark, which sells things worth a few pounds only. We were mad to take pictures with Primark, but we REALLY LOVE PRIMARK!!!

After which, we went to Harrods because there was some sales going on haha. The bears are still expensive, so we could only take pictures with them as memories.

Our favourite tube station, Victoria station.

Our favourite bus to london, greenline 797.

I finally have a nice picture with the London eye at the Thames River.

Pictures with my housemates from House 6

What a pity that we didnt get to take pictures with Daniel!!!!! Argh!!!!!!!!!!!!! My favourite housemate!!!! Nvm haha... at least i have his facebook account.

Dinner at House 2 cooked by the Malaysians and Paul. Each of them cooked at least one dish. Thanks!!! =) Really nice dinner!

WE didnt want to sleep during our last night, so we talked and talked till 5am. Talked about ghost stories and some other stuff. Our ghost stories were a bit of a failure haha... but we still had much fun that night.

We slept in Karen's room after that. First time sleeping in house 2. Woke up very early the next day to pack because we havent packed!!! haha.

Finally, its the day we left Hatfield. I think its god in the sky was trying to tell us sth. Firstly it rained quite heavily that day while we were dragging the luggage and braving through the rain to reach the bus stop. 2ndly, BA went on strike and the flight was delayed by 1 hr.

Finally leaving for Singapore (unwillingly haha)

Hey peeps, i'll update this blog as often as i can. It wont be that exciting as the previous posts anymore beacuse life in NTU can never be too interesting :P Take care everyone.

Wow.. four mths has passed. Angeline went back on last friday due to some family matters, and since then I feel that part of our exchange programme is already over. The 4-pple-on-exchange programme has ended, leaving the three of us behind to take our exams. 19th jan, the day I thought will nvr come, finally comes. Nonetheless, its a wonderful end to this exchange programme. My Malaysian friends cooked some nice dishes for us yesterday night!! =)=) These 4 mths have been like a dream to me, too wonderful for it to be true. Thanks for the opportunity, if not I wouldn't have known how the world is like. Thanks for the opportunity to meet so many pple, although most of the them I probably have a hard time keeping contact with.

Gdbye England. I dont know when I'll be coming back(no $$ to come back during graduation trip haha), but I'll come back asap.

Hello Singapore! Hello my friends & family back in Singapore! =)

I think i'll still keep this blog alive.

haha.. this wk we are all studying for next wk's exams. How's life in ntu everyone? I'm joining u all soon. I'll be sad to leave london, and i will 'TRY' to look forward to ntu life.

I almost forget abt my Berlin post and i better post it before i forget about the entire trip.

28th December (Berlin, Germany)

What a pity we only had one day at Berlin, because Berlin is so interesting!!!! Should have stayed there for at least 2 days to visit the concentration camp. We joined the free tour and the tour guide is really good! He explained the Germany's history and told us funny stories. My general knowledge of Berlin is almost close to zero. I didnt even know that Berlin Wall was built to separate the East and the West Berlin and Germany! How ignorant i was! haha..

See how many pple attending the tour? in the end they split us up into 4 groups.

Brandenburg Gate
Hotel Adlon. The hotel where Michael Jackson dangled his baby.

Memorial for the Murdered Jews of Europe

They looked like tombstones to me, but they are not. ACcording to the tourguide, this was only built in 2005, many years after the holocaust.

Berlin Wall!!! Torn down in 1991. A bit disapointed because i was expecting to see something like Great Wall of China haha.

A university (i cant rem the name)

Checkpoint Charlie. The crossing point between east & west germany. On one side its this guy's picture.

On the other side its'another guy's picture.

Berliner Dom

Berlin TV Tower

Brandenburg Gate at night

The Parliament House

Underneath it is the parliament house.

We went into a shop selling the best chocolates in Germany. This building is made of chocolate.

And this one.

Thats the end of my travelling adventures. =) ITs a nice end. To conclude, I've travelled to Edinburgh & Glasgow, Paris, Zurich & Zermatt, Prgaue, Munich, Barcelona, Lisbon, Rome, Stockholm, Vienna, Venice, Milan, Athens, Berlin. =)=) Currently enjoying the last few days of stay in Hatfield and london. See you guys!

my continued 2-wk tour entry post is behind my new year eve post. =)

Happy new year to all! I just cant believe its january again. EVeryday is sunday to me, and I can't differentiate between year 2007 and 2008.

Year 2007 has definitely been a really eventful year to me. It started off with busy workload in yr 2 sem 2 that i thought i probably wouldn't be able to survive through. Celebrating friends' 21st bday one after another, envying them each time yet they envy me in the later part of the year. The arrival of my nephew, Kiefer into this world. Professional Attachment at silicon application, which is so near my house and nobody, including me, has heard of it. Finally came the exchange programme, which made these 4 mths the most eventful and happiest moments in my life. Its definitely an eye opener and i have no regrets about joining this entire programme. I met many pple all over the world, be it long-term friends or just passerby whom im destined to meet. I also visited many countries in Europe, experienced the different cultures, environment, climates, food, language, people across Europe. Finally, it was my 21st bday which i spent in between London and Switzerland. =) I saw snowing for the first time in Switzerland on my bday! Im finally an adult who is able to go into casino, watch RA shows and make my own decisions offically. You see how the yr 2007 is meaningful to me?

Year 2008. I'll be back to singapore soon. In fact another 17 or 18 days later. No doubt im a bit excited about going back yet also sad at the same time because I probably wont be coming back to europe in near future. This will be the year that hopefully i will graduate by may and get a stable job. A big step from college life to working life, which means no more 1 or 2 mths school holidays for me anymore. =(

Anyway, yesterday my friends and i went to london for countdown and fireworks. Met up with shuangning and qinyi =).

Lunch was at four seasons restaurant (again yes hahah) and dinner was at Mandarin Kitchen for lobster noodle, followed by ice skating at Hyde park. Outdoor ice skating ring again!

We stood right in front of the london eye for fireworks and i thought the london eye was going to block some of the fireworks. IT turned out that they made use of the london eye for the effects.

It was estimated to have 700,000 people gathering at river Thames to watch the fireworks. It was drizzling but it was worth braving it. i was quite impressed by the fireworks, and i was standing at one of the world's busiest cities watching one of the most amazing fireworks of the year. Unforgettable experience. =)
